全港首個結合都市農耕及社區參與元素的大型市區綠化項目



【都市綠洲】乃基督教家庭服務中心一項糅合社會服務元素與綠化元素的新服務。【都市綠洲】位於九龍觀塘道2號A，佔地約75,000平方呎。服務期望利用綠化和植物，有效地促進人類的身心靈成長和發展。

【都市綠洲】舉辦各類環保教育和綠化活動，耕種訓練、節能設施示範，以及義工服務的推動，讓不同人士有多元化的參與形式。我們本著都市農耕和社區參與兩個重要理念構思和建設【都市綠洲】：

都市農耕：
我們盼望「都市農夫」計劃提供和建設有利於市民在都市參與農耕活動的機會和平台，從身體力行的過程中鍛鍊身體，訓練恆心，學習環境保護、園藝種植、資源和綠色生活的知識和技巧

社區參與：
我們鼓勵不同界別、不同專業、不同背景、不同需要的人士的參加，策動各界一同參與環境保護與綠化工作，建立關愛社區，共同建設的精神

都市農夫計劃 (第二期：2015年月1至6月)

申請期：2014年8月1日-10月3日　  

結果公布：2014年10月22日

Firstly, I would like to say ... it's a great idea, it gets people out off their chain, unglued from the screen, and do something good for themselves and the environment....

We have community gardens in some slightly more built up suburbs here in Sydney, I haven't joint any of them, but I think they are all sponsored by the local councils and financed by the local community organizations; and they are free to join.
So, in order to attract more participants, I think the joining fee should be halved, and with exemption to those over fifties.  The not so young and retired members can contribute to lots of great ideas and valuable experience.  ....IMHO... only.
