英超博尔顿俱乐部今天宣布经过“相互协商”主教练萨米.李已经同意离开球队。
继切尔西的穆里尼奥之后，萨米.李成为了本赛季第二位下课的英超主教练。本赛季萨米.李从阿勒代斯手中接过了博尔顿的教鞭，不过在其执教的14场比赛中他不仅没有体现出自己的任何过人之处，而且博尔顿在成绩上也发生了巨大的滑坡——14场比赛3胜4平、联赛仅积5分与肯定降级的德比郡并列倒数第一。
在如此糟糕状态下，萨米.李的下课也就只是时间的问题了。终于在本周博尔顿决定换人了，目前球队暂时由威尔士老将斯皮德暂时指挥训练，而队长诺兰也担负了一定的执教任务。
俱乐部老板加特塞德接受官方网站采访时表示：“博尔顿俱乐部与萨米.李和弗兰克.麦克巴兰德经过协商达成了一致，他们将离开俱乐部。虽然这是一个艰难的决定，但我们认为(现在换教练)是最佳时机。”

ANELKA RULED OUT BY INJURY - 17th Oct 2007
Nicolas Anelka is an injury doubt for Bolton's trip to the French striker's old club Arsenal after picking up a knock against the Faroe Islands at the weekend.
Anelka will miss France's international against Lithuania on Wednesday and will have a fitness test before the Arsenal game.
A statement on the club's official website said: "Nicolas will be assessed by Wanderers' medical officials upon his return to the club's training ground."
Les Bleus have also lost Sevilla defender Julien Escude to injury.
A brief statement on the French Football Federation's official website said only that the injured players "left Clairefontaine and the French football team on Monday morning and would therefore be absent for Les Bleus' penultimate qualifying match".
Anelka, 28, has 42 caps to his name and 11 goals - including the opener in France's 6-0 demolition of the Faroe Islands on Saturday.
Twenty-year-old Escude has played five times for his country.
Coach Raymond Domenech has called Monaco striker Frederic Piquionne into his squad as Anelka's replacement.
The 28-year-old has just one international cap - picked up against Austria in March - but has had an impressive start to the Ligue 1 season, scoring four times in 10 matches for the principality club.

Van Persie worry for Gunners
Arsenal are awaiting news on the fitness of Robin van Persie after the Dutch star damaged his knee on international duty.
Van Persie started Holland’s 2-0 win over Slovenia on Wednesday, but left the field on the hour.
He was in obvious pain, having appeared to twist his knee when attempting to convert a chance, and he will be sent for scans on Thursday.

Van Persie could be sidelined for a month
Early estimates suggest Robin van Persie will be sidelined for four weeks after picking up a knee injury on international duty. When Arsène Wenger spoke to Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon he had not seen his Dutch striker since he’d picked up the problem in the Euro 2008 qualifier against Slovenia the previous night. But the initial guidance led him to believe the 24-year-old could be out for a month. “It looks like a knee injury,” said the manager. “We will know later today how bad it is but the early signs are that he will not be able to perform for us in the next four weeks.
“It is a big blow. Robin is a striker, a supportive striker and important on set-pieces as well. I hope he will be back soon and we’ll do the maximum to get him back.” Philippe Senderos (back) also collected an injury on international duty and will be out for two weeks. However on the positive side William Gallas, Jens Lehmann and Tomas Rosicky are all now available for the visit of Bolton on Saturday.

First there was Big Sam, then there was Little Sam. Now Bolton have no Sam at all.
The midweek departure of Sammy Lee was no huge surprise after a haul of five points in nine Premier League games and rumblings of discontent following Lee's publicised disagreement with veteran midfielder Gary Speed. But this week's developments leave the Trotters rudderless as they prepare to take on Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
The odds look stacked against Bolton with Arsène Wenger's side firing on all cylinders at the top of the table and ex-Gunner Nicolas Anelka, so often a thorn in his former club's side, struggling to shake off a thigh injury. Bolton will be hard pushed to justify the tag of 'Arsenal's bogey side' they picked up during Sam Allardyce's reign.
We spoke to Gordon Sharrock of the Bolton Evening News to get a Bolton perspective ahead of Saturday's game. Bolton travel to Emirates Stadium on Saturday without a manager and seemingly much hope of stemming Arsenal’s early-season swagger.
On Wednesday Sammy Lee paid the price for Wanderers’ wretched start to the season which has seen the team win just once in nine games and, as chairman Phil Gartside leafs through his contacts book, caretaker manager Archie Knox is the man in a hot-seat left a little bit too warm by Sam Allardyce.
Back in Bolton’s halcyon days, the Lancastrians were renowned as Arsenal's bogey side but, somewhere along the line, Big Sam's black magic lost its potency - Bolton have won only one of their last five meetings with The Gunners and, in fact, the team have not won in their last nine visits to North London since an FA Cup replay win in 1994.
In contrast to The Trotters’ struggles, Arsenal have dropped just two points in eight Premier League games and a 3-2 win over Sunderland extended The Gunners’ winning run to 10 games in all competitions.
Arsene Wenger’s biggest selection concern is in attack after Robin van Persie was ruled out for the next month with a knee injury sustained while on international duty. The Dutchman’s absence means Eduardo da Silva will lead the line.
Arsenal’s five-goal top scorer could also be joined on the sidelines by the similarly prolific ex-Gunner Nicolas Anelka, with the Frenchman, who has scored six goals in his last seven Premier League appearances against Arsenal, a doubt because of a calf injury!

Knox Gunner do it like Fergie
ARCHIE KNOX hopes some of Alex Ferguson’s magic has rubbed off on him as he prepares to face his mentor’s bitter rivals Arsenal today.
The Scot, 60, only arrived at the Reebok in August as Sammy Lee’s assistant and finds himself in charge after spending most of his career as a No 2.
Knox worked with Fergie at Manchester United and Aberdeen and also spent time alongside current Rangers boss Walter Smith. He said: “I’ve grown up with them — Walter and I played together and I spent 11 years with him at both Rangers and Everton.
“You develop your own experience along the way but you cannot help but pick up the traits of the guys you work with.”
Knox is happy to hold the fort but has no desire to take the job permanently.
He added: “When this comes later along in your career I think it’s time for younger guys to take over the high pressure roles that managers have now.”
Knox gave up a role with Scotland’s Under- 21s to join Lee and now faces an uncertain future.
He said: “There will be disappointment at Sammy’s departure. “I’m sure the players will feel that but it’ll be case of them getting on with the job they are paid for.
“Every game is massive but there is no harder task than Arsenal away.”

双方并没有制造太多的机会。波顿一如往常的＂野蛮＂＋＂粗略＂打法。把重兵集中在＂防守区＂。
积极的抢断，使ARSENAL没有太大的机会把球传到ADEBAYOR和EDUARDO。

以WENGER熟悉BOLTON＂粗略＂的打发，WENGER一早派上强壮的EBOUTE出任RIGHT MIDFIELD，在上半场，也许，EBOUTE 和 SAGNA的配合和默契不足。但老酶深算的WENGER原来是想把BOLTON左路搞到＂疲倦＂，下半场，换上＂充满活力＂的T。
WALCOTT来＂制造机会＂和＂撕开防守＂。WENGER也将＂毫无作为＂的EDUARDO换上THOMAS ROSICKY，不但活动了ARSENAL的左路，还进了球。
BOLTON一早把重兵＂堆积＂中路，让ARSENAL的FABREGAS毫无作为。
而BOLTON也用了＂高吊＂和＂长传＂以变让ARSENAL的DEFENDER＇S不敢参与进攻！！
你们有没有注意到CLICHY根本没有参与ATTACK？其实是WENGER的计划。

枪手克星今非昔比
今年四月份时，博尔顿曾还在酋长和阿森纳为争夺冠军杯资格而战。而现在，枪手稳坐英超头把交椅，博尔顿却排在积分榜第19位。大山姆走了之后，曾经的枪手克星一落千丈，已不再有往日的风采，而枪手们却在温格的带领下一路高歌猛进。现在的阿森纳不是去年那支磕磕绊绊阿森纳，现在的博尔顿也远非去年的博尔顿。
本场比赛，阿森纳首发阵容中，爱德华多代替了在国家比赛日受伤的范佩西，伤愈的队长加拉斯回到中卫位置，阿穆尼亚继续把守大门。而博尔顿的主力前锋阿内尔卡在国家队比赛中负伤没有出现在比赛名单中，刚刚接替萨米李帅位的克罗克丝派上了久违的戴维斯。
上半场比赛异常沉闷
