距離《Windows 8》推出已進入倒數階段，Microsoft日前亦釋出《Windows 8》Release Preview版本，提供14種語言供下載。而Release Preview版追加同其他Partners合作開發的應用程式，包括Bing旅行、新聞同運動等；另亦整合Zune Pass的Xbox遊戲跟音樂應用程式，有興趣玩新OS的朋友可下載試試。Microsoft還推出Windows Upgrade Offer優惠，由即日起至2013年1月31日，凡購買預載《Windows 7》的個人電腦，便可以14.99美元升級到《Windows 8》，價錢都算合理。
