【內容簡介】：

   本劇主要講述一對「最不可能」的搭檔合作破案的故事－－他們一個是詐騙高手，一個是FBI偵探。經過多年勞神費力的「貓鼠遊戲」，聯邦探員Peter Burke（Tim Dekay）終於將死敵Neal Caffrey抓獲歸案。但這並不意味著這個外表迷人、聰明絕頂的傢伙從此將在暗無天日的大牢裡度過殘生……頗具諷刺意味的是，Neal竟然從全美國警戒最嚴、安全係數最高的一級監獄里大搖大擺地逃脫了！ Neal夢想找到失散已久的舊愛，但他等來的不是「浪漫」，而是Peter那烏黑的槍口。

   或許這一切都是Peter早就設計好的，但Neal無論如何不肯再回到那可怕地地方。越獄是重罪，但Neal卻稱他有辦法「將功折罪」－－方法麼……以他在黑道上的見識及他的聰明才智，如果要反過來幫助聯邦警察，必然能偵破一系列讓人頭疼的懸案。 Neal只有一個要求：幫你可以，但你得給我自由。
Tiffani Thiessen扮演Peter的妻子Elizabeth，一個地位很高的宴會策劃師。她很聰明，至少不比丈夫差。她擁有非常敏銳的直覺。 Willie Garson扮演Neal的好友Mozzie，對Peter這樣的聯邦警察始終懷有戒心，認為他們「無時無刻不在搞陰謀」。 Diahann Carroll（"Grey's Anatomy," "Dynasty"）在首集客座演出。

   和USA近幾年推出的所有劇集（《火線警告》、《就在眼前》、《慾海醫心》）一樣，本劇充滿了喜劇色彩和戲劇性元素。再加上本劇的兩名主角都是很有特點的演員，很善於演繹多層次、多角度的角色，令本劇充滿了看點。 USA是一個很善於塑造角色的電視網（HBO則善於打造情節），所以我們絲毫不用擔心本劇角色身上的「趣味性」。

   在保持大方向不變的前提下，Peter和Neal這種永無止境的「鬥法」，是本劇吸引觀眾的最大看點之一。
