I have been living in Toronto for more than 20 years now. I still think Canada is very safe place, even with the gun fires and killing in the recent months. As there is no such place as 100% safe. So, don't just read the News Headline and jump to the conclusion.

Compare to 20 years ago, it's not as safe, but still safer than a lot of other countries, I think.
