      Gregory House是一名『非典型醫生』，他從不穿白大褂，永遠是鬍子拉碴，拄著一根拐杖，成天吃糖豆似的磕止痛片；
他堅信『每個人都說謊』，要么竭力避免與病人或家屬見面，要么極盡諷刺嘲弄之能，甚至對病人惡言相向；
他的診斷方式離經叛道，多番指示手下三隻『小鴨子』破病人家門而入，尋找致病源頭；
不惜採取極端的實驗性治療方案，把病人或自己迫向死亡邊緣，為的是解開一道道棘手的醫學難題。
雖然少不了捅出漏子，但總會有院長Cuddy和好友兼腫瘤科專家Wilson扛著。

      上季劇情打破前三季常規，House導演了一出醫院版『倖存者』，從30名應聘者中選出三隻『新鴨子』，不料後院失火，
落選者『蛇蠍女』Amber撬走了專屬好友Wilson，當Wilson以為找到生命中的最愛之時，House間接使Amber死於一場車禍。

      Wilson會否原諒House？ House如何修補兩人的關係？曖昧多時的Huddy（House+Cuddy）能否成事？證實患上亨廷頓舞蹈症的『13』命運如何？

Hugh Laurie 飾 Gregory House

Hugh Laurie出生在英國的牛津鎮，先後就讀於伊頓公學和劍橋大學，並取得了人類學的學位。在劍橋就讀期間他是學校賽艇隊的一員，而且還被選為學校戲劇社團的社長，在那裡，他認識了Stephen Fry和Emma Thompson，合作創作了舞台劇《The Cellar Tapes》，並取得了1981年愛丁堡藝術節的畢雷獎，為三人今後的演藝道路奠定了堅實的基礎。之後，他與Stephen Fry創作並出演了四季的《A Bit of Fry and Laurie》，此外還有《Blackadder黑爵士》三季、《Jeeves and Wooster》四季。

電影方面，Laurie曾出演《Flight of the Phoenix鳳凰劫》、《Sense and Sensibility理智與情感》、《The Man in the Iron Mask鐵面人》、《101 Dalmatians 101忠狗》等。在他的演藝事業轉戰美國後，他還客串演出了一系列電視劇，如《Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows》、《Tracey Takes On...》和《Friends》。

除了電視電影的演出，Laurie還指導電視節目、廣告、創作並發行專輯等，同時他還是倫敦《每日郵報》的專欄作家，他的首部小說《The Gun Seller》在英國及美國同步上市，並已被選為電影劇本。

Lisa Edelstein 飾 Lisa Cuddy

Robert Sean Leonard 飾 James Wilson
