一個為出人頭地，只認錢的女律師，和一個坐了34年牢獄，被判了死刑的女人，兩人的靈魂居然互相對調。死囚借著律師的身體重獲自由，更發現當年和她一起殉情的男人仍然活著，一生白白斷送。死囚決定尋找當日的真相，而律師為了找回身體，幫助死囚翻案，一同合力抽出背後操縱一切的人。二人由敵對關係，變成最親密的忘年好友，互相改變對方的餘生。
