It is pretty dangerous suggestion. It works only if the dog submit to you. A portion of dog would attack because of provocation. Looking at the dog directly in the eye is also a direct challenge to the dog.( t6 H- q  w  }% e. t8 Z2 u8 v5 j
Most of the time you may get away but you would get some dog to attack you. While they probably wouldn't attack you if you do not provoke it.
