my internet will disconnect frequently and and reconnect itself because i use dlink dsl 2640t router

check your cable, "Pc to router or PC to modem" that cable. May be the cable needed to change, cus it happen to me.But after i changed it work fine now. Hope this can help.

or maybe ur router having pbm, last time i also like that.average on9 1 hr got at least 10 times dc intermittent.after i change the router pbm solved.
