But the problem with microSD is the moving parts and the loss of the card....Perhaps I prefer to keep things simple...

I believe 32gb is enough....but it depends on what you want to do with your iPad

once you store movies in your iPad, pls music and photos, 32gb may not be enough....been using a 16gb one and i can tell you, it's making me crazy with the storage managaement....
