Big man Antonio McDyess is mulling a return to the NBA after retiring last season and spending a year away from basketball, Yahoo! Sports reports.
A 15-year veteran, McDyess, 38, told his agent, Andy Miller, to survey NBA teams to see if there is any interest.

"He would consider coming back, and I will be reaching out to select teams," Miller told Yahoo! Sports.
Over the course of his career, McDyess has played different roles with Denver, Phoenix, New York, Detroit and San Antonio. McDyess was the focal point of the Denver Nuggets’ offense in the late ’90s and early 2000s, but multiple injuries to his left knee changed the course of his career.
In his best season, McDyess averaged 20.8 points and 12.1 rebounds for the Nuggets in 2000-01. The first in a series of knee problems came in the next season, and McDyess suffered a serious re-aggravation to the left knee injury while playing for the New York Knicks in 2003-04.
He later rebounded as a Detroit Pistons role player for five seasons, before joining the San Antonio Spurs for the two seasons preceding his decision to retire. McDyess produced 5.3 points and 5.4 rebounds in his final season with the Spurs.
