Technically the could direct broadcast in the U.S. but legally, either Dish Network or Direct TV have the North America Broadcast right.

Bough the TVPad 4 for about four months. Works great, Mostly use the play back function which all other TV box missing. Watch the news whenever I want instead of streaming live. We're 12-13 hours difference in the U.S. Only problem is the play back missing most of the program on the weekend. The work around is watch the interactive new channel instead. Worth the money... hope it last.

     for oversea use, make sure you purchase the right version....GN instead of the chinese CN version.
