PENNANT: I DON'T MIND BEING LEFT

Jermaine Pennant insists he'll play wherever Rafa Benitez wants after being deployed on the left for much of Saturday's demolition of Derby.
Both Pennant and Ryan Babel looked extremely dangerous after swapping flanks in the early stages of the 6-0 win.

"I don't mind playing anywhere - left or right. When I'm on the left I get a little bit of joy cutting in on my right foot," said the 24-year-old winger.

"The gaffer sees the game better sitting on the bench and he decides what's best for the team."

Pennant added: "Would I play left-wing for England? Definitely. You could put me right-back if you wanted to.

"It's nice to hear the manager say I should be in the England squad and if I continue to do what I'm doing, and get the press behind me, who knows."
