European car has a lot of electronics which easy to have problem.  Most of the buyer of buick is senior, I never seen any newer buick will race with other car, and they drive nicely.  GM make both Buick & Chevy, Chevy is not in the reliable list, one of the reason is most of the chevy buyer are younger people or car rental company, and a lot of rental car driver like they try to blow up the engine in 1hr.
