9 m. ~# Q8 g, ~- s8 B5 {/ X" _8 J《舊約聖經》中《撒母耳記上》曾記載過大衛殺死一個名叫歌利亞 (Goliath)的巨人，他的身高是六肘零一虎口(six cubits and a span)。《聖經》中肘的算法有幾種，最短的一種是一尺半為一肘，六肘便等於九尺。六肘零一虎口高，歌利亞至少有三米多高了！但這卻不是《聖經》中關於巨人唯一的記載。& J' B8 h' Y+ |3 q3 }8 M
