why i always have a red cross while i am downloading

i have read the forum.
5 g/ Z5 x9 {9 m7 ^7 V; M& R% L9 rtvb now,tvbnow,bttvbthey say the "red cross" mean no space on your computer

but my harddisk is not full...how come it still doing that
