i have 2 computer , one is using intel other one is using AMD, but both is old processor. coz last time AMD is use for gaming, and intel is for work. but now plan change to i7, coz powerful, gaming and work also can do.

2. AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (939)
3. AMD Athlon 2400+ (Socket A)

Intel is more reliable. AMD is cheaper

AMD always the Price/Performance winner, except High-end FX series.
For low-mid end user, AMD is better choice. However if you looking for something higher than Phenom II 1100T, it's better for you to get a i5/i7, FX just don't stand a chance with i7
