Here is one of my favorite Chinese poem, so simple yet so nice:


gao gao shan tou shu,
feng chui ye luo qu.
yi qu shu qian li,
he dang huan gu chu.

風吹葉落去。
一去數千里，
何當還故處。

High up on the barren rock stands the old grandma tree,
ruffled by the autumn wind,  the leaves bit farewell.
Hurdled passed the mountains, drifted across many seas,
the leave that flew away, when you'll be back to the dear old tree.

Here is another excellent clip, a little shaky at the beginning; the old man is not only the dance master, he has to be a mushu master too.  Watch the clip again, you will see how swift his movement is, his whole body synchronize with the dance and the percussion.  The more you watch it, the more you would appreciate it.
