actually the SAF conduct joint exercises with a lot of other countries. Even Taiwan.

these days, we build our own and we do tenders to buy the 'best'.

tanks are Leopard2A4, for instance with upgraded modular armor although 2nd hand, but then hey, China bought a 2nd hand aircraft carrier, LOLz

assault rifle is from Singapore itself.

conscripted soldiers are treated like regular soldiers in actual warfare and exercises, no such thing as auxiliary forces because have you seen how many regulars we have?
Compare these pics to the North Korean ones elsewhere on this site! They even let PEOPLE walk all over them.  It is NOTM=money and technology separating these two countries' military equipments!!

it looks like a Steyr Aug, but is actually a SAR 21. I guess you are not as informed as you think.
