I am not married yet, but I can totally see and understand what you are talking about... ...  I also feel that my bf is always trying to avoid meeting up with my mum (on the other hand, he always want me go to his family gathering...)!!!  To be honest, I am kinda sick of it too!   Of course, since he is avoiding my mum, I will avoid meeting his family too... ...

What I am trying to say is, we gals shouldn't spoiled our bf / husband, we need to tell him: "if you do this to my parents, I will do this to yours too!"
