I never eat in my bed room. I don`t put any plant in my room neither. Instead of close the door when I am not there, I usually keep it open so the fresh air can come in  and the dusts won`t accumulate. Also instead of using a duster to get rid of the dust. I use a wet towel to do that, because if you use a duster, you just move the dusts from one space to another, but if you use the wet towel, you will truly get rid of the dusts.
