or 唱錢 - not sure if that came from the English word "change", I think there might be an actual Chinese character for "唱", just like how the actual character for "啲" should be written as "尐" since 啲 is a made-up character, 印印腳 should really be 䟴䟴腳 etc

There are a lot of Cantonese words that are derived from old Chinese before 白話文 from the North became dominant in the written Chinese language, gradually phasing out the "old" words that are still spoken by Cantonese people today, but the written form is lost
